Service times, directions, and what to expect for your first visit

New Visitor

If it’s your first time at All Things New, here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit.

Service Times

All Things New meets every weekend, 10am on Sundays in the Monterey High School Cafeteria  101 Herrmann Dr, Monterey, CA 93940 - enter from Larkin Street

Where do I go when I get there?

You will receive a warm welcome from the greeting team. You are welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a snack.   If you have any questions or need anything, feel free to stop by the Connections Center. Or, just ask anyone; we’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to make your visit comfortable.

How long is the service?

Gatherings last about an hour and 15 minutes. We start by singing three to four songs, then you’ll hear about the news of the church followed by the sermon. To get a feel for our service, check out our past sermons.  We usually conclude the service at about 11:15, but please stay around, get that extra cup of coffee, maybe a bagel or donut, and meet the All Things New Family.

What do you do for kids?

At All Things New we do our best to be engaged with one another across generations. We worship alongside each other, share meals together, and know that...whether young or old...we can all learn from each other. With that said, we also understand there are times when it is helpful for people to be around others in similar life stages. Below are some of those options.

Nursery: In our nursery, we care for all babies from birth to 2 years old with toys, songs, and caring volunteers who want to share Jesus's love with our youngest attendees.

Preschool thru 5th grade: Our kids from Preschool to 5th grade begin Sunday mornings in the service before being blessed and dismissed to their classrooms for age-appropriate and engaging lessons. Check out the ATN Kids page for more information on our curriculum!

Middle School: Our middle school students also begin Sunday mornings in the service before being blessed and dismissed to their classrooms . Check out our ATN Youth groups for more information.

High School: Our high school students worship with the adults on Sunday morning, and have their own gathering on Sunday evenings at 5pm.  Check out our ATN Youth groups for more information.

What should I wear?

Most people wear casual clothes, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
