I’m married to Paul, and mom to Dana and David. Nebraska is where I spent my first 22 years.  My parents and grandmothers, as well as Sunday School teachers and pastors, were influential in my faith development.  Bible camps were times to be exposed to missionaries whose stories and messages challenged me to dedicate my life to following Jesus.

I taught school in the Midwest and California.  Most of it was in early elementary grades. My husband, Paul, has served as pastor in 4 Covenant churches and as a chaplain in a Covenant Retirement Community in Colorado, where I worked in the Marketing Department.  As a pastor’s wife, I enjoyed participating in varied ministries of the local church as well as regional and national ministries and developing friendships as we served together. After retirement we spent 2 ½ years in Ecuador as short-term missionaries. We moved to Carmel in 2008. I appreciate the beauty of the area and the opportunity to be part of All Things New.

I created a Mission Statement which states: My mission is to encourage people in their process of discovering, developing and implementing their God-given potential. I see myself as a listener and encourager. I find joy in seeing others grow in their faith and in recognizing growth in my own life as a result of relationships. I enjoy getting to know people in small groups and one-on-one.  For that reason, I’m looking forward to walking alongside others in an RGR relationship.  I am interested in the area of “rooted” because I think it matches my Mission Statement. I see my role as a companion on the journey of the Christian life.

Either mode of meeting is ok with me.
