SERVE
We want to be a church where we can be engaged with the mission God. Whether you can offer a few minutes a month or more, we would love to help you find a way of serving that is right for you. If you are not sure about how to serve, we would love to help you. Submitting this brief questionnaire is great way to get started

Other Opportunities
ATN’s ministry extends beyond our Sunday Worship Service offering many different ways to serve at other times. Whatever your spiritual gifts, interests or skills there is an opportunity for you.

Shop For Good
You are invited to serve those in need in our local community. Our prayers, as well as material support, are instrumental in these partnerships.

Local Salt and Light
We currently support immigrants, homeless women, Monterey High School students, and young children in need of books. And we are always open to other opportunities to serve at risk populations as the Spirit leads.

Global Salt and Light
Global Salt and Light support international missionaries in the Dominican Republic and Great Britain. We also support missional organizations and initiatives through our denomination. There are many different ways to serve in this area including writing letters to our missionaries and prayer. Participating in or even helping to organize a mission trip is another potential opportunity.

ATNkids
It’s important for each of our ATNkids to feel loved and nurtured by more adults than only their parents. Those who have a passion for kids, or feel called to help introduce our youngest church-goers to Jesus are needed and welcome to help in ATNkids!

ATN Student Ministries
ATN Students are a key part of our family. If you feel called to serve our High School and/or Middle School students we have different opportunities. We meet Sunday mornings and would love to have support in their growth with Christ. Additionally, we can use help for camp, and events.

Adult Discipleship Groups
We need hosts to open their homes and leaders to plan and facilitate discussions. These are short term commitments as our groups are new each fall and winter-spring.

Rooted-Growing-Resilient (RGR)
As a mature Christian do you feel called to partner one-on-one with someone seeking support and encouragement? Check out ATN’s Rooted-Growing-Resiliant (RGR) ministry for more information. This is a four month commitment.

Congregational Care
There are many ways we come alongside individuals in need. This includes our prayer ministry, opportunities to provide meals to family members and friends in need or one time crisis financial support.

Connections Events Support
Getting together for coffee, for walks or hikes, for fun family events is something we do all year long. Does planning, organizing, or leading one or more of these events appeal to you?

Communications Support
ATN communicates in a variety of ways - through email, social media, visuals used during Sunday worship services, flyers and other printed materials. A wide range of skills and contributions are needed such as writing, editing, design, graphic arts, technical and administrative support

Church Operations Support
ATN’s ministries must be supported by effective operations including finance, HR, information systems, and other administrative needs. Skills, experience, interest in any of these areas is much needed.

One Time Special Event support:
For big all-church events to be successful requires a team of people with different skills and interests. These include general planning and organizing and leadership skills as well as abilities to carry out the plans.
