Women's Bookclub

If you enjoy reading and discussing books in a small group setting, you’re invited to join ATN’s Women’s Book Club. This group meets in homes throughout the greater Monterey area and is a great way to build friendships while engaging members in discussions.

When We Meet

Third Thursday of each month
7:00–8:30 PM
January–May & August–November

Attendance is flexible—come whenever you’re able.

How it works

A different book is selected for each month’s meeting. Club members are encouraged to recommend books for the upcoming year, and a vote is held toward the end of the year to select them. Fiction and non-fiction, Christian as well as secular books are selected.

At the end of each discussion, everyone has the chance to rate the book (0–5), which often leads to fun and engaging conversations.

Get Involved (Optional)

You’re welcome to participate in simple ways:

Host – open your home and provide beverages
Facilitate – guide discussion using prepared questions
Bring a snack – anything from healthy to homemade treats

Community

This group includes women of all ages and backgrounds—from ATN and beyond. It’s a welcoming space to connect, share ideas, and build new friendships. Feel free to invite friends to join you.
