About the Event
This quarter's IJI Justice Spotlight Sunday is also a Family Sunday! (Our regularly scheduled Family Sunday is 12/29, but in order that our kids can help lead us in a reflection and discussion on this issue, we've rescheduled it.)
Did you know that Monterey County is the childhood poverty capital of California? Monterey County has more homeless students than San Francisco and San Jose combined and a 30.3% child poverty rate – meaning, one in three children and one in four adults are affected by
food scarcity. So, let's all learn more about what's going on and work to help change it!
NOTE: There will be no separate ATNKids programming available, but a "pray-ground" will be set up in the service for our toddlers/preschoolers and our Nursing/Feeding Room is always open for parents to find a quiet place for their littles if needed.
