About the Event
Program is presented by the Monterey County Regional Parks District, with the Santa Cruz Astronomy Club and the Monterey Institute for Research in Astronomy (MIRA) Club.
Look up at the night sky and revel in its vast and seemingly endless mysteries, as vast and endless as the love of the God who created it all! Come and join amateur astronomers as they share their knowledge of the cosmos. Observe planets and faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters during this two-hour program.
Important notes:
Portable chair, warm clothing, and hot drinks are encouraged.
Rain, fog, or cloud cover cancels the event.
Bring a (red) flashlight.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Only service dogs are permitted.
